Colorado trip 2008

When our granddaughter Ashley called to tell us she was getting married the travel plans were made.
The wedding and reception were very nice. Her husband Justin and his family are very nice and did a great job with the wedding arraigments. Justion's grandmother made the wedding dress.

After the wedding and a few days of visiting our family in Colorado it was off to Moccasin Arizona to see the Mother-in-law. Here are some pictures from her house there.

Last year when we went out there I gave a ride to a native American man and as we rode along he tried selling us some jewelery he'd made. He also pointed out various sites of interest to us. Here is a photo of what they call elephant legs just west of Tuba City Arizona.

Back to working at Wal Mart

Well working for West didn't work out for one thing my house isn't quiet enough and they didn't have enough hours for me to make enough money. So finally Wal Mart called and offered me a position in Frozen Foods. I'll work 6 PM to 11 PM there.

Plywood desk

With my new part time job I need a quiet workplace at home. I've been working in my game room but it's just too noisy in there so I've decided to move out to the shed. I cleared a little office space out there and today I built a plywood desk. Yesterday I ordered a second phoneline as there were too many personal calls interupting my work hours. This caused me to miss business calls.
Here's a picture of the plywood desk still in the rough. It took a 36X70 inch plywood, 4 foot of 2X6 board, 22 - 2inch screws and some wood glue. In about two hours I rounded up the materials from around the house and cut, glued and screwed it together.Remember this still need to be sanded and painted.
